Changes are a-coming

It has been awhile since we have updated you all about news from the Quoakle office. Things have been slowly changing but from the 12th of November onwards the changes will be in full throttle! Nigel will be going back to teaching. This has always been his passion and amazingly a door has opened up for him to teach 3 days a week in a school in Berkshire! This will have an effect on both Tim and Sean but they feel this is right. Tim has been working for another company in Cheltenham and he has seen his workload increase bit by bit so it seems we are all entering into a new season of sorts. Sean will be travelling to Israel on the 12th of November for 11 days, while Nigel starts his new job on the same day! This will mean that Tim will be holding the fort for awhile but then will be going to France in December for a few weeks. So you can see that a lot has and will be happening towards the end of the year. We are still contactable on either support@dev.quoakle.com or info@great-days-out.co.uk and also on 01452 595377 However, this doesn't... Read More

Autumn is returning

Well, didn't we have a glorious summer? For some of June and much of July the heat was incredible! August was a quiet month for the Quoakle office but now we are once again in September and this week schools will be opening their doors to revisiting and new students alike. The autumn in the UK can still be beautiful with the changing of the leaves and the cooler, darker evenings. This time of year can be one of the best times to explore England and Wales. We have 14 topics to choose from that can help your every need. Choose Quoakle for your quick and local directory this fall!

Recent trips

Both Nigel and Sean had been away and returned to the UK last week. Sean was visiting his homeland of Canada and afterwards spent some time in the USA, while Nigel and Helen went to Israel for the first time! Both sets of travellers had a great time, even more so knowing that Tim Davis was in complete control of all of the various websites. He even had time to do a little tweaking on the Great Days Out UK Directory while the rest of the team were away! It is still easy and quick to use!

The New Great Days Out UK Directory is now LIVE!

Yes, it is true, finally the new website for Great Days Out UK has been unleashed onto an unsuspecting world! Thankfully with Tim Davis at the helm, the launching of the directory went smoothly enough. We are incredibly chuffed with how the website looks and believe it will be a better experience for the user. We have made searching through the website a lot easier too. We hope you enjoy using our new directory! Here is a picture of Tim right after the directory went live. Enjoy the cookies Tim!

Great Days Out UK getting a New Look

We have some exciting news concerning our sister directory, Great Days Out UK! Since Tim's return, the Quoakle office has been ablaze with creativity and new ideas. As with most things on the internet these days, businesses do what they can to keep up-to-date with the constant flow of change that takes place. We always endeavour to make our websites the most user friendly on the world wide web! So as it stands, we are currently working on a new and improved Great Days Out directory! We will keep updated as the work progresses!

Tim has Returned!

Yes, after 5 months of being away the prodigal son has returned - even though he is not related to any other member of the Quoakle office or was a prodigal son in any shape or form. He flew out to Sydney, Australia on the 26th of September and was based there with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Sports DST. He also spent 6 weeks in Vanuatu as part of his placement. To find out more about what he got up to, visit - http://www.timothycdavis.co.uk/timdownunder/. We are just glad that he has returned well and healthy even though he may have lost a kilo or two in weight! Welcome back Tim...

One Month in already

Well, it is hard to believe that January has come to an end! It seems that Christmas was only just yesterday and here we are now into February already!? Things have been going full steam ahead, despite the odd cough, dizzy head and chest infection! Tim is still away but will be landing back in the UK in little under a months time. We have certainly missed him. Both Nigel and Sean have been able to hold the fort minus Tim's invaluable skills, but it hasn't been easy to say the least. We hope that you have all had a good start to the year. We trust that 2018 will be a good one!

Tim’s Farewell

Yes, it was emotional but we know that Tim will have a fantastic time in Australia! Nigel, Sean and Tim, went to A Harvester Restaurant near Gloucester's city centre. It seemed strange that it was going to be our last get together before Tim's departure but we know he will be back in the UK in February! So, we wish you all the best Tim!

Exciting Changes to Quoakle.com!

Yes we can safely say that there has been a lot of tweaking going on on our directory!Tim C Davis has recently taken over the reins from Tim Coysh and is now going full steam ahead with the ongoing work. We are very thankful to Tim Coysh for his input but due to working schedules, it was deemed impossible for him to continue. Thankfully Tim C Davis has stepped into the breach. We know it has taken a long time to get to this stage, but elegance can take time to be revealed!Sadly, Tim C Davis will be leaving for Oz in a couple of weeks time, and will be away for a few months (What will we do without him??) so, it looks like Sean and Nigel will have to contribute to the realisation of a dream... a NEW and IMPROVED quoakle.com directory!!

Spring Update

You may recall back on the 28th of February that we had said that Timothy C Davis, of TCD Web Design was going to Australia for 6 months, well unfortunately it never worked out and was postponed until September 2017!Even though there has been a couple of cancellations for Tim's YWAM (Youth With a Mission) placement, he hasn't given up and all being well, will be flying out to Sydney, Australia in September after all. As stated in a couple of previous blogs, the duration will be 6 months in total and as also previously stated, he will be sorely missed!Nigel came back from a wonderful time in New Zealand last week after being away for a few weeks. He was able to spend some time with his youngest Daughter and Son-in-law, who were expecting a baby at any moment! It was a bit of a family reunion, as Helen (wife) and Hannah (eldest daughter) were able to be there to help out and support the new addition to their family!Sean will be flying out to Lapland from the middle of June and will be on a missions trip for almost 6 weeks in total. We trust that Great Days... Read More
