Today will be the official day that schools right across the UK will be closing for the summer holidays! So far we have had a fantastic summer and now that all the kids will be out we hope it will continue. There will be approximately 6 weeks of freedom for children of all ages until school opens it's doors again. Make sure they count! Both Nigel and Sean had been away and returned to the UK last week. Sean was visiting his homeland of Canada and afterwards spent some time in the USA, while Nigel and Helen went to Israel for the first time! Both sets of travellers had a great time, even more so knowing that Tim Davis was in complete control of all of the various websites. He even had time to do a little tweaking on the Great Days Out UK Directory while the rest of the team were away! It is still easy and quick to use!
Once again, the UK will be soon drenched in wall-to-wall sunshine (Well we hope so anyways)! The Half term in May is only a week or two away now - dates that most schoolchildren have probably already memorised by now!School holidays and term times can vary depending on which part of the country you live in.
